Living on the Edge

How often do we make decisions based on the edge cases?

Deciding what stocks to invest in, college to join, books to read, podcasts to listen to are very well influenced by edge cases of something exceptional happening.

While we look for direction for a prosperous life, some exceptional cases govern our decisions. It may or may not work.

We're not here to talk about the probability or to prove you wrong but rather presenting a simple question.

We look for cases supporting the idea what we wish to happen. It's sort of like living in a fantasy land.

A question to ask when making decisions: What could be the consequences of this decision in my life? ("my" being the key word here)

Don't answer "It works for them and that's why I am going for it".

Learn from the events but decide keeping your context in mind.
